I'm Starting a Blog, First Steps
Special

My PC's Cool Wallpaper
Who are you
I'm Joshua, a software engineer (B.Sc) with experience building applications. I started programming because I wanted to learn how to make games. Well I did learn how to make simple games but the gaming industry is a rough one so I had to diversify. I mainly work on web applications and mobile applications.
I build frontend applications with React, NextJS, Tailwind, e.t.c.
My go-to for backend is NodeJS with Typescript, but I've made other stuff in Golang, Python, e.t.c.
I've made some game prototypes (if they're even good enough to be called that ;)) in C++ using OpenGL.
I can't list everything I've made, but I will say that I'm very multifaceted.
Making this blog
This is a custom MDX blog made using NextJS. I spent a while looking for a nice CMS to use but I figured I would use my degree for something and built my own (with the help of a few pals of course).
I've never really used NextJS for personal projects, but from the recommendations I saw online on how It's good for SEO and the support for MDX through some NPM packages, I finalized on using it for this blog.
I set this up in a way that only creating the MDX file in the /content folder is enough to get a new article out there.
What will you write about
I would be writing about the projects that I work and have worked on. My experience in learning new things in the tech space. My journey in web pentesting, bug bounty writeups, basically anything that I feel like writing about will be written about.
Why now
Hmmmmm, not sure, maybe I will fill out this section later :}
Conclusion
That's it, I'm not planning on making my first article a long one, there will be more articles in the future were you'll freely be allowed to gripe about the lengths.
Until then.
